23 months old and more!

Wow! We have been so busy and disorganized lately. We finally have a good amount of the house unpacked and all the computer and camera stuff set-up so I can post some long-awaited pictures. Nate's 23 month pictures are below along with a hodge-podge of other recent shots. I can't believe this is the last month with Nate as a 1-year old!

22 Months Old!

OK, I am a little late getting Nate's 22-month picture up. I did take it a few days ago, but just haven't gotten around to posting it! Nate has been doing well, but did finally catch his first cold/ear infection of the year. It had been going so smoothly at daycare since school started back until this week. The poor little guy has been pretty miserable, but hopefully we are over the hump now.

Halloween!

We didn't do an official "trick or treating" but Nate had a little Halloween party at school and then we let him walk around the neighborhood as a dog. He thought is was pretty cool.

Fall Fun!

Admist all of our househunting and other craziness in our lives right now, I haven't had a chance to post in awhile... We did find some time a couple of weekends ago to head to a local farm and partake in their fall festival. They have hayrides, slides, farm animals, and other neat stuff that Nate really enjoyed. The weather was wonderful, and it was nice to do a family activity that didn't involve looking at houses! We haven't decided what Nate will be for Haloween yet. Look back in a couple ideas for the result!

21 Months Old

It has been quite awhile since I last posted. Nate's personality grows by the day. He turned 21 months old today and has been such a joy lately. Enjoy some much awaited photos.

20 Months Old

Nate is twenty months old today!!! He is getting so close to being 2 years old. It is hard to believe...time flies. He is saying lots of words. One of his new favorites is "poo poo." Enjoy the 20 month photos.

Labor Day at the National Zoo

We spent the morning at the zoo - our second annual trip. Nate definitely could enjoy the animals more this year compared to last year. Nate especially liked the noisy tiger, and he practiced making roars right along with the tiger! We got great looks at the elephants, hippo, gorillas, oragutans, and pandas. I do have to admit that Les and I are a bit tired. Nate skipped his much cherished nap twice this weekend, and we don't seem to have quite as much energy as he does!

Back to School

Well both Nate and I headed back to school this week. It was bittersweet, I guess more bitter than sweet, but we have been adjusting pretty well. Nate has been doing o.k. at school, a bit clingy to his favorite teacher. He has been tired at night and tries to hang tough for walks and dance parties but ends up melting down and wanting bed! We managed a photoshoot on the deck this evening before he got cranky. On a sweet note, Nate has started saying "love you..." although it sorta sounds like "ah-choo!" I know what he means....

House for Sale!

It's official! Our house is on the market as of last night. The sign is out front... now we just need someone to buy it. So, if anyone knows anyone looking for a great townhouse in Northern Virginia, send 'em our direction! Here are some pictures!

19 Months Old

I apologize for being delinquent in updating the blog. We have been busy getting the house in order to put it on the market. Here is Nate's 19 month shot. He is getting so big and has a big personality to match (I wonder where that came from???) .

Pictures from Maine

We had a wonderful vacation in Maine. We spent lots of time with family and friends. We went to Northern Maine, saw Mt. Katadin, enjoyed the Clam Festival parade, saw Great Grampy, played in Kennebunk and just generally buzzed around. Nate liked looking in the frog pond at Sitou's and once he got over being sick, tired and crabby, he really had lots of fun. Enjoy the pictures from the trip!
